About AJAS

The American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS) Annual Conference brings together outstanding high school researchers from across the United States to present their original STEM research, attend laboratory tours, connect with professional scientists, interact with their peers, and participate in the AAAS Annual Meeting.

Students who register, attend the conference, and present their original research at the AAAS Poster Session will receive an AJAS Fellowship. The AJAS is not a competition and there are no tests, scores, rankings, or grades.

Registration for all attendees (students and adults) is $500. All AJAS student delegates under 18 must be accompanied by a registered, paid, chaperone. One adult can chaperone multiple students. Individuals who do not register will not be able to enter the conference areas or events. AJAS Registration includes admission to most AAAS events.
